Now that it’s officially 2026, Charleston is done easing in. The city is ready to go, and honestly, what better way to kick off the year than with great food, great energy, and every excuse to get out and enjoy where we live.

Charleston Restaurant Week runs January 8–18, and it’s one of my favorite January traditions.

For ten delicious days, some of Charleston’s best restaurants roll out prix-fixe menus at special prices. It’s the perfect chance to finally try that spot you’ve been meaning to book, or revisit a favorite and order with zero restraint.

Whether you’re planning a cozy date night, a girls’ dinner, or a spontaneous “let’s sit at the bar and see what happens” kind of evening, Restaurant Week always delivers.

Pro tip: Reservations go fast, especially at the most-loved spots. If there’s somewhere at the top of your list, lock it in early.

Moments like this are why Charleston feels less like a place you live and more like a lifestyle you get to enjoy. Restaurant Week is one of those little reminders that the city always knows how to show up.

If you want recommendations, neighborhood insight near your favorite restaurants, or just want to trade food recs, you know where to find me.

Cheers to a strong start to 2026, Ally
